What exactly is this group about? I can tell it's for artists collaborating (and locked in a tournament started quite a while ago) but what exactly goes on? I have to say the rules/about section is kind of vague hehe.

This group is an OCT, or Original Character Tournament, in which you enter and compete your original character in a plot or fighting-based tournament – it can vary, depending on the OCT. ( You can find a WHOLE lot of information on the subject here: [link] )

This OCT tends to be different from other OCT, though. Basically, the theme for this OCT is that you, the artist, has entered a dimension called The Real, and has the ability to summon three of their own characters to compete against other artists in this tournament.

Why thanks, it certainly did help! Thanks for the link, that was especially explanatory. I think for more info I should browse the group to see exactly what goes down, it sounds fun but also extremely taxing. OCTs have always seemed interesting to me, and it's cool looking through them. I haven't found one that really fits my groove though you know? I dunno still sounds pretty cool though hehe. Though these tournaments seem like they take a long time, heh

So, I've heard about the "New Canvas" version of this tournament.

Does it still exist? Is there anyway I can view the old entries/stories from New Canvas? I'd really love to if it's still available.

um....your looking at it, this is the new canvas...if you would like to read the old entries from the old tourney just click on fox or rocks icon and click on one of their old aatr comics. There will be a icon on them to take you to the old aatr page.
